Abingdon Flower Club
We meet on the first Tuesday of the month from 7.00-9.00pm (doors open at 6.30pm).
Abingdon flower club is affiliated to NAFAS. Each month we have a qualified demonstrator to show their skills working with a variety of beautiful flowers and greenery (these are used as the raffle prizes at the end of the meeting).
There is a chance to show our own skills by providing an arrangement on a monthly theme which is then helpfully commented on by the demonstrator. We have a sales table where flower arranging goods can be bought. There is also a charity table where plants, books, and other goods can be purchased.
We enjoy refreshments at the end of the meeting when we can chat and get to know each other. You do not have to be a flower arranger, just have a love and interest in flowers.
