Welcome to the Northcourt Centre website
Built early 1960’s on land donated by Miss Tatham, the Northcourt Centre is a registered charity (No 300185), and is run by trustees and a committee of representatives.
The Northcourt Centre is available for function hire and is host to a wide range of community activities which welcome new members. We hope that you find the information on this website useful and it will enable you to enjoy this wonderful community asset in Abingdon.

Fundraising
Supporting Our Community Centre
As a registered charity, the centre relies on regular booking income to cover everyday running costs. However, essential repairs, refurbishments, and long-term improvements are only made possible through the incredible fundraising efforts of our volunteers, centre users, and the wider community.
Your continued support helps us maintain and improve the spaces that so many people depend on.

Features Overview
Abingdon Artists
Abingdon Artists have their monthly meeting in the Morgan room on every second Thursday of the month (except August) at 7.30pm. They invite artists and art historians to give talks and/or demonstrations on their own work, as well as showing new media available on the market. We also sometimes have practical workshops. Non-members are welcome for a small fee.

Short Mat Bowls
The Short Mat Bowls club meets every Monday morning in the Tatham Hall from 10am till Noon and is open to anyone who would like to learn and practice the game of bowls. We are a small friendly group of ladies so why not come along and join us. Much more fun than doing the housework!

Join Wild Arc Yoga (Yoga by Rachel) for festive fun in the Tatham Hall.
£11 pay-as-you-go or 1 class credit. Savings on 4 and 8 class passes. Military and Blue Light card holder discounts on class passes.
